Makes 8 Scones. Please use within 6 months of purchase.

Just add milk and butter! Optional but fabulous: add zest of an lemon to the mix.

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. Pour mix into a bowl (add optional lemon zest) and rub in 4 tablespoons of butter with your fingers until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Butter should be room temperature.

3. Make a well in the middle and add 1/3 cup of milk or enough milk to make the dough come together. Turn onto a lightly floured surface.

4. Form into an 1 inch thick disk and cut into triangles with a knife (like a pie) or use an 2 inch round cutter.

5. Place on a baking sheet and cook for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown and well risen.

**Scones are best if you eat them the day you bake them or you can freeze any left over scones and they will keep for a week.

Give It A Twist!

Add lemon zest to the mix for a delicate burst of citrus and beautiful lemon highlights to the dough.

Drizzle our lemon icing over your blueberry scones. It's that perfect combination of tangy sweet!
