Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most

There are times in the dungeons of January when you think you might never escape life indoors. You long to see the first few fingers of Spring wiggle their way through the frozen crumbs of Winter. Then, just as you have reached your end, snowdrops and crocuses, give way to sunny daffs, as the hills explode with dogwoods, pear and redbuds. But the highlight for us is the tulips!
This year we sought out our beloved Tulips at the Ecotulips Farm in Brightwood, VA (the bloody deer ate all ours!). The flowers were absolutely radiant, although by the time our crew of three had picked a few, some of their radiance had diminished!
