Baking Directions

All our scone mixes have detailed instructions on the packaging, but sometimes it is easier to see a picture. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to prepare the scones. We have used images so you can see the consistencies of the scones at various stages. If you are missing the detailed instructions for your particular mix, see the "Individual Directions" section at the bottom of the page and select your product.

Step-By-Step Directions

01 Put the contents of the scone mix in a bowl.

02 Add any additional ingredients and butter to the mix.

03 Rub the butter into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs.

04 Add milk and mix together with a fork until the dough comes together.

05 Turn out the dough and form into a 1-inch thick round.

06 Cut into triangles (like a pie) or use a 2-inch round cutter.

07 Place on a baking sheet and cook for 8-10 mins, until golden brown.
